Notes: For this holiday episode, Gunsmoke gathered together an all star cast of child actors, most all virtually unknown at the time who would later gather future fame in movies, TV, etc. Oddly enough, this was the last holiday themed episode "Gunsmoke" aired mainly due to the fact that CBS screwed up scheduling and aired the holiday show two days after Christmas on December 27, 1971.
Plot: After the handyman at an orphanage is kicked out at Christmas, the 7 kids decide to runaway with him and end up in Dodge City. Soon they learn their female Scrooge who "owns them ... body, boots and short britches" is headed to Dodge right behind them to bring them back to see to it that they have no Christmas.
